Stromso EF 799 (electric)

Strømsøboat develops solar-assisted electric boats for quiet recreational use in Nordic conditions. The concept combines a traditional-looking hull and enclosed social space with electric propulsion and roof-mounted solar generation.

History and ownership. The Norwegian company was founded in 2021 with a focus on boating without local exhaust or engine noise. It is a young specialist business rather than a historic production yard.

Production and equipment. The boats are developed and produced in Fredrikstad using Norwegian and European materials and suppliers. Electric motors, batteries, solar equipment and onboard systems are integrated into the complete propulsion concept.
