Sea Ray is an American recreational-boat brand known for bowriders, sport boats and motor cruisers. Its boats are widely represented in the pre-owned market and have been produced in many sizes, layouts and propulsion configurations.

History and ownership. Sea Ray was founded by Cornelius Nathaniel Ray III in Michigan in 1959 and became one of the best-known American production-boat names. After decades within Brunswick Corporation, the brand continues as part of Brunswick’s recreational marine portfolio.
