Tietoa valmistajasta Zodiac
Alkuperäinen kuvaus: Englanti
Zodiac is widely associated with inflatable boats and rigid inflatable boats for leisure, sport and professional use. Its ranges cover compact tenders, open RIBs and larger recreational models with varied seating and equipment arrangements.
Tube material, engine specification and optional equipment vary by model and year. Their condition, repairs and storage history are particularly relevant when evaluating a used inflatable boat.
History and ownership. The Zodiac name grew from a French aviation and airship company that developed expertise in inflatable structures. Its marine activities became famous for inflatable craft and later evolved through separate corporate ownership; Zodiac Nautic today focuses on recreational inflatable boats and RIBs.
Production and equipment. The manufacturer develops and assembles tubes, hull structures and boat layouts, while outboard engines, electronics and accessories are normally supplied by independent marine brands and selected for the individual package.
