Bertram 30 Fly

Bertram builds American offshore motor yachts with a strong association with sport fishing, deep-v hulls and robust sea-going performance. Classic Bertrams and current models span very different periods but share a purposeful offshore identity.

History and ownership. The marque was founded by Richard Bertram after the success of the early deep-v race boat Moppie. It became one of the best-known names in American powerboating and has continued under several ownership structures.

Production and equipment. The builder coordinates hull construction, engineering, interiors and assembly, while engines, transmissions, electronics and fishing equipment come from specialist suppliers. Older boats frequently carry major repowers and refits.
