About this boat

This Princess V45 is currently for sale in Finland.

A well kept Princess V45 with genuinely low hours and a long list of recent work. Twin Volvo Penta D6-350 diesels have run just 570 hours; injectors were checked and only ~80 hours have been added since. The drives and props were renewed in 2023 and have the same ~80 hours on them.

She handles beautifully — comfortable cruise around 27 knots with a top end of roughly 35 knots. Below deck there are two separate cabins, each with its own electric heads and a proper separate shower stall, sleeping four. The galley has an induction hob and two fridges, and there are two Autoterm diesel heaters (2022), one for the accommodation and one for the wheelhouse — a real advantage for extending the season in Nordic waters.

The electronics package was completely renewed in 2025: two 12" Simrad NSS evo3 displays, Simrad 4G radar, VHF, AIS, a new NMEA2000 network and Volvo EasyConnect, with autopilot readiness in place. Power comes from an Onan 10 kW generator, a four-battery start/thruster bank on its own Mastervolt charger, and a 600 Ah LiFePO4 house bank on a dedicated TBS charger.

Renewed between 2023 and 2026: mattresses, re-upholstered saloon seating, new interior flooring, bow and stern thruster remote control, holding tank and most of its hoses, galley worktop, sink and tap. A full bottom job was carried out — everything stripped back, new primer and antifouling, and all through-hulls replaced at the same time.

The engine room is exceptionally spacious and easy to service, and the transom garage swallows a tender of around 2.80 m with its outboard fitted.

About Princess

Princess logo

Princess Yachts has built motor yachts in Plymouth, England, since 1965. The company produces flybridge yachts, sports yachts and larger cruising models, combining British manufacturing with a strong focus on design, engineering and interior craftsmanship.

Individual Princess yachts may differ substantially in engine choice, layout and factory options. The listing and supporting records should therefore be checked for the precise specification offered.

History and ownership. The company began in Plymouth in 1965 as Marine Projects and introduced the Princess name with its early production motor yachts. Princess Yachts is privately owned and has retained its manufacturing base around Plymouth, drawing on the region’s marine trades.

Production and equipment. Princess states that a large proportion of each yacht is crafted at its own facilities. The yard carries out design, engineering, composite work, joinery and assembly, while engines, electronics and specialist systems are sourced from established partners.
