About Fjord

Fjord builds distinctive open and enclosed motor yachts with high freeboards, walkaround decks and large social areas. Current designs focus on day boating and fast coastal cruising with several propulsion and layout choices.

History and ownership. The Fjord name originated in Norway in the 1950s and has a long history in Scandinavian production boats. The modern brand forms part of Germany’s publicly listed HanseYachts AG group.

Production and equipment. Design and series production are coordinated within HanseYachts’ industrial network. Composite structures, interior modules and assembly are combined with engines, drives, electronics and deck equipment from specialist suppliers.
