Møn 27

Møn is a Danish sailing-yacht name represented by compact cruising boats such as the Møn 27. The boats are designed around manageable sailing, useful family accommodation and the conditions found in Scandinavian coastal waters.

History and ownership. The marque belongs to Denmark’s active period of small production yards and locally designed fibreglass cruisers. Surviving boats often have long private ownership histories rather than uniform dealer records.

Production and equipment. Composite hulls and decks were fitted with timber interiors and specialist-supplied rigs, sails and engines. Later owner improvements can account for much of the current equipment.
