BRIG builds rigid inflatable boats with aluminium or composite hulls, inflatable tubes and outboard propulsion. Its range spans compact tenders, family day boats, open sports models and larger cabin-equipped RIBs. The format suits owners who want light weight, high stability and easy handling, while different tube materials, consoles and seating packages give each series a distinct purpose.
History and ownership. The company was established in Ukraine in the early 1990s and developed from a specialist inflatable-boat manufacturer into an international brand. BRIG boats are now distributed through dealers in Europe and many other markets. The company’s history is closely connected with Ukrainian marine engineering and with the practical requirements of rescue, leisure and tender users.
Production and equipment. BRIG controls the design of its hulls, tubes and deck layouts and uses serial production methods for repeatable fit and finish. Outboard engines, steering systems, navigation equipment, upholstery and accessories are sourced from established marine suppliers. Model revisions can change tube fabric, console design and permitted engine power, so the production year is essential when comparing boats.
