Nimbus is a Swedish boatbuilder known for Scandinavian motorboats designed for commuting, day boating and cruising. Its range includes enclosed commuter boats, open day boats and larger coupé and tender models.
Different propulsion and equipment packages are available across the range. For a pre-owned Nimbus, buyers should verify the model year, engine installation, navigation equipment and service record.
History and ownership. Nimbus was established in Sweden in 1968 and developed a reputation around practical Scandinavian motorboats. Today the brand belongs to the publicly listed Nimbus Group, which manages several boat brands and sells through an international dealer network.
Production and equipment. Design, product development and controlled production are combined with specialist manufacturing partners and marine-equipment suppliers. The exact production location and component mix depend on model and generation.
