Bayliner is an American recreational-boat brand with a long history of producing accessible bowriders, deck boats and cabin models for day boating and family use. The brand is widely represented across North American and European used-boat markets.

History and ownership. Bayliner traces its roots to Orin Edson’s boat business in the Pacific Northwest in the 1950s. It grew through accessible, high-volume recreational boats and today forms part of Brunswick Corporation’s collection of marine brands.
Production and equipment. Series production covers moulded structures, assembly and installation, while engines and equipment come from specialist suppliers. Many models use propulsion from Brunswick’s Mercury Marine business, although specifications differ by market and year.
