Northman is a Polish builder of sailing yachts and motor cruisers for inland and coastal boating. Its ranges include compact family sailboats and displacement or semi-displacement motor yachts marketed under Northman and related names.
History and ownership. The company developed from a family boatbuilding enterprise established in Poland in the 1990s. It has expanded production and exports while retaining a focus on accessible cruising boats.
Production and equipment. Composite hull and deck moulding, interior production and assembly are carried out within the company’s production system. Engines, sails, spars, electronics and appliances are sourced from established suppliers.
